Windy racing for the TPM team at round 3 of the Caterham Championship!
The Welsh air swept the TPM team to podium with Charlie Lower and Gareth Lucas both landing P2 trophies in the 310 championship! The 270 championship came equip with hard battles for both Zach Lower and Django Jones, with Zach’s weekend unfortunately coming to a close early following a crash in race 1.
The weekend was awash with chaos, with the team undertaking a gearbox replacement for Django Jones on Saturday evening and an engine out for Gareth Lucas for a clutch repair during testing on the Friday. Isaac and Ben tested their soldering skills with a rewiring behind the dash on Django’s car following a Vbox Power issue. Despite these challenges for the team to overcome, the spirits were held high with food and smiles.
Once again, the TPM tent saw many familiar faces and became host to friends and family sheltering from the blustering weather outside. With new liveries for both Django, following his crash last weekend, and Charlie Lower with the new TPM branding, these were kept shiny by our youngest apprentices!
