Round 4 of the Caterham Official Championship took the team to the North East, heading to the technical and unforgiving Croft circuit. This time out, only Charlie Lower represented the team in the 310R Championship, while Django Jones flew the flag in the 270R class.

Both drivers gave it everything in their respective championships. Charlie fought hard all weekend, securing a well-earned P3 and P2, adding two more trophies to his 310R campaign. Django’s weekend, however, became an uphill battle — his car proving to be the team’s main challenge at Croft.

From engine timing issues to on-track contact and ongoing throttle body troubles, Django’s car demanded serious attention across the weekend. After extensive work and a final diagnosis revealing a contorted throttle body, a last-minute fix brought the car back to life. He rounded off the weekend with a strong P4 finish in Race 3 — a solid reward after a relentless effort from both driver and crew. Here's hoping the momentum carries forward.

The team also supported Lyonel Tollemache in the 270R class, where he put on a dominant display — bringing home a P1 and P2 in the first two races of the weekend.

Sunday brought a lighter note, as the paddock hosted a car parade and signing session along the pit lane. Although the biggest turnout may have come from the clouds of bugs that blanketed both cars and drivers, spirits stayed high in the sunshine with plenty of laughs shared.

With another weekend of racing behind them and a 7-hour drive ahead, the team packed up Sunday evening, already looking toward the next challenge.

Next up: the team heads overseas to Holland, joining the F4 grid at Zandvoort. See you there!
