Silverstone ‘25
Team Perry’s Motorsport rolled into Silverstone International this past weekend with a strong lineup of drivers and high hopes to close the season on a high. Representing the team in the 310R Championship were Charlie Lower and Rob Lowe, while Django Jones flew the flag in 270R. And, in true Team Perry’s style, we even had a surprise late addition — Sol, joining the fun at the last minute on Saturday.
Friday testing delivered truly biblical conditions — torrential rain that turned the circuit into a lake and tested everyone’s patience (and waterproofs). Despite the weather, spirits remained high in the garage, with plenty of teamwork, laughter, and coffee keeping the energy alive.
Come race day, the team found its rhythm. Charlie Lower was on sensational form, delivering one of his best weekends yet. He took P1 in Race 1, followed it up with a hard-fought P2 in Race 2, and then produced an outstanding drive from a reverse grid in Race 3 to take another P1 — sealing P3 in the championship in style. A flawless performance that showcased both speed and composure from start to finish.
In 270R, Django Jones continued to impress with his trademark wheel-to-wheel battles. He fought brilliantly to claim P4 finishes in both Race 1 and Race 2, showing excellent pace and racecraft throughout. Unfortunately, some contact in Race 3 dropped him to P8, but it didn’t take away from what was a strong and consistent weekend that underlined just how much progress he’s made this season.
Rob Lowe, meanwhile, kept things steady in the 310R, gaining valuable experience around one of the UK’s most iconic circuits. In mixed conditions and with fierce competition, he continued to build confidence and pace — and, more importantly, managed to keep all four wheels pointing the right way when others didn’t!
Sol’s last-minute appearance brought even more energy to the paddock, jumping straight in with minimal prep and putting on a great show throughout Saturday. It’s never easy joining mid-weekend, but Sol made it look effortless.
As the dust settles on the 2025 season, Team Perry Motorsport can look back with genuine pride and satisfaction. From the drama at Oulton Park ‘25, where Charlie Lower claimed his first 310R win and Django secured double P2s in 270R, to every round through Zandvoort, Croft, Anglesey, Thruxton and Snetterton, we’ve faced rain, sun, crashes, comebacks and everything in between. The late-season heroics mirrored the grit shown all year — Charlie’s clutch reverse grid win in the final round is just one highlight among many. The team spirit, late nights poring over data, mechanical recoveries and laughs in the paddock have all been part of the journey. This year hasn’t just been about championships or trophies — it’s been about growth, resilience, and building something bigger than the sum of its parts. As we turn the page on 2025, the fire’s burning already for 2026 — and we can’t wait to see what we can do next.
